Always an artist, born in the midwest, 20 years in NY, now working on 20 in CA.
Work with light, shadow and reflection, in installations, sculpture, painting, drawing and crossovers. Feminist, meditator, worker, with art at the heart.
Most important: making art that people can see and feel.
Favorite art experience: studio visit with friend’s father, showing him the painted light installations, light crossing the wall and floor, caught in one moment by my painted light images. As we walked outside, he looked at the light and shadows on the ground and said, “Oh, look, there’s another one of your pieces.”
